I sooooooooo didn’t want to go to the gym tonight. I had to stay later at work and had absolutely no motivation when I drove into the gym parking lot. I kept making excuses why I should skip. I even sat in the car playing on my phone for like 15 minutes thinking that maybe it would die and then I just wouldn’t be able to run without my music and C25K app. Finally I pulled my butt out of the car and pushed myself into the gym. And ya know what … I ROCKED MY WORKOUT! I felt great, had lots of energy, ran faster than last time, stayed to do some lifting, and even took some bomb progress pics! Plus now I feel awesome instead of all lazy and regretful. It’s like the quote I have in my Healthy Life Corner “Before every run is a battle between the mind. Win it.”
On a side note: I totally get having to have ditch days where you just really need to skip the gym and grab a glass of wine and PJs instead - this was me yesterday : )
So one of the big cons of being a FitBride and loosing (a lot) of weight before the wedding is that my engagement ring no longer fits : (
I switched it to my middle finger a couple weeks ago because it was falling off of my ring finger but I don’t know how much longer I will be able to because it is close to sliding off that one too.
I went to the jewelry store yesterday to ask them about resizing it and unfortunately it cannot be resized without all of the diamonds falling out of the band. We are looking into other options but this is a big bummer. Obviously totally worth it, but still.
Here is a pic of all the extra space that my ring has right now. They fitted me and come to find out I have gone down a whole 2.5 ring sizes!! Crazy!
